School Safety and Emergency Response Course to equip Security Officers, Peace Officers, and others who work in school environments and wish to be capable of responding to emergencies in a way that mitigates the potential for loss of life due to violence or severe injury. The School Safety and Emergency Response Course is a 10-14  hour course, with three-four hours of classroom instruction, four hours of practical instruction, and three-six hours of firearms instruction on the range. Each student must pass a written test and a firearms proficiency demonstration to receive a certification for the training. 

The classroom portion of the course will consist of training on the following topics: 

●  Conflict Resolution - the art and science of managing/diffusing conflicts 

●  Security Procedures - general knowledge of best practices and security
mindset/methodology 

●  State laws/codes - an overview of the relevant laws in your state that relate to
emergency response, use of force, and security 

●  Use of Force Theory - an overview of the Dynamic Resistance Response Model
(DRRM), its components, and the theory behind how we apply it
The Practical portion of the course will consist of demonstration, explanation, and scenario-based training on the following topics:
 

●  Emergency Medical - basic hemorrhage control, tourniquet application, wound packing, CPR, AED, self-aide 

●  Emergency Response Protocols 

●  Active Shooter Response Tactics -

We will be covering  fundamentals and advanced movement while operating your pistol optic. You do not have to have only a Red Dot optic, Green is allowed too.

Need:
-Duty/Range belt
-Level 2 or 3 retention duty holster
-Minimum 3 mags
-Minimum 2 mag holders
-Ear Protection
-Eye Protection
-Proper range attire
-Tac Vest (Optional)
-Closed toe shoes

-500 round count

We will be covering mostly fundamentals of the pistol. We will cover basics and we will help teach shooters to:

-Proper grip and recoil management
-Proper presentation
-Trigger control
-Maintaining an accurate and tight shot groupings

We will be covering mostly fundamentals of the pistol. We will cover basics and also move into some advancements of the pistol as well. We will help teach shooters to: 

-Proper grip and recoil management
-Proper presentation
-Trigger control
-Maintaining an accurate and tight shot groupings
-Advancing your draw and acquiring your target faster.
-We will break down finding beyond the sights and knowing what you're shooting and when you shot or not shoot.
-Target transitioning
-Focusing on dominant and nondominant hand
- shooting around cover and concealment 

This class will require you to already have a Basic Pistol Course by a Certified Instructor and provide proof or have taken a PTS Basic Pistol course.

This is where we are going to learn the "Shoot, Move and Communicate" tactic of shooting with a Pistol. This class will require you to move around, while communicating with a partner you're shooting with all while engaging targets. We will conducted advanced reload drills will moving and behind cover. This class will last about 4-6 hours depending on the class size.

If you are running a RDS on your pistol we ask that you have already zeroed and know the basics of shooting with an RDS/RMR

These classes are by the hour but do require a 2 hour minimum for the class, first range fee and targets will be covered/provided by the instructor. The 1 on 1 classes are for Pistol, Rifle and blended Pistol and Rifle. These classes will cover a lot of what is in the group classes. 

This class will break down the fundamentals of shooting a rifle. IRON SIGHTS are prefered for this course. If you are running optics that's fine. If you can have pop up sights attached that would be best. This class will show you the proper techniques for basic shooting and then prepare you for advanced shooting. The class will take place out on the range the entire time.

This class will require you to already have a Basic Rifle Course by a Certified Instructor and provide proof or have taken a PTS Basic Rifle course.

This is a 4-6 hour class depending on the amount of students. Optics are not required but definitely encouraged for this class.Range will be hot about 99% of the time. We will but conducting a lot of "Shoot, Move and Communicate" so be prepared to get a work out in. and so much more!

We will focusing on weapon transitions between the rifle and the pistol. These transitions will be conducted while standing, moving, from behind cover and moving to cover. As well as reloading doing the same movements. this class will last close to  4-6 hours depending on the class size.
